Accidental Damage Waiver & Maintenance Agreement

This Accidental Damage Waiver and Maintenance Agreement covers all costs related to adjustments and repairs necessary to keep the rented instrument in proper playing condition during the rental period. This assumes said repairs and adjustments are needed due to normal wear and tear to the rented instrument from normal playing and practice conditions.
Repairs due to accidental damage to the instrument are covered should this damage be not a deliberate or malicious act on the part of the renter. Peninsula Music / Park Ave. Music reserves the sole right of determination whether or not damage is deliberate or the result of a malicious act. Repairs due to failure of renter or student to properly follow correct maintenance procedures may void coverage.
This agreement does not cover replacement of cleaning materials or perishable accessories such as: strings, reeds, swabs, lyres, lubricants, brushes, rosin, and drumsticks.
In no case does this agreement cover any loss of rented instrument due to fire, theft, or any other cause which may occur that renders said instrument un-returnable or lost. Customer is fully responsible for the full value of rented instrument should said instrument be lost, stolen, or destroyed by fire, motor vehicle accident, or any other mishap or act of nature. Coverage of this agreement continues as long as rental payments are current.
